Johnny Utah is stuck in me head!

This morning I was woken by a dream – a nightmare really. Also I wasn’t really woken by it as it came after the alarm clock woke me up. Of course it wasn’t really the alarm clock that woke me up as the alarm clock was playing the decoy for the smaller clock that woke me up. Apparently I scared the smaller alarm clock and it had to hide behind its big brother. Confused yet? Imagine going through this all when you are not really awake yet.

As I prepared to go back to sleep and get as much rest as I could before starting the day, I fell into The Dream. This particular nightmare was not one of monsters chasing me, the world coming to an end in some cataclysmic way. This dream was a nightmare for two reasons alone. The first being that apparently my character in this dream was being played by Keanu Reeves – and for the record no, I did not know Kung Fu. Perhaps even scarier was that the great leaps of insight that came at the end of the dream in a method similar to JD at the end of an episode of Scrubs made sense to me. Yes, the Keanu logic seemed normal and intelligent to me.

So, I lay in bed trying to make sense of the nonsense. Although I have watched a few Keanu movies in my time, I am not particularly prone to hearing my voice in that of Ted Logan or Bill S. Preston, Esquire for that matter. Also, while the voice was the Keanu that was made fun of in the Celebrity Jeopardy skit where he was played by Tobey Maquire, it was the Point Break Keanu that I was stuck in the head of. See how confusing it can get?

**********
Get the full article over at Geek Like Me...
http://www.ageeklikeme.com/ArticleDetail.asp?ArticleId=165&CatId=2

So, there is a new article up on Geek Like Me in the Geek Stuff section. I slowed down a bit, but I also took some time off of work to do some spring cleaning which seems to be a job you cannot walk away from. There is no punching out at 5:00 and going home.

As for other things, I am at that crossroads again on deciding if I am going to go for just judging, or attempt to be competitive with at least one card game. Not sure, but I am sure that I will figure it out in time.

I really have few things that are my favorites, but I really feel solid on declaring that one. And thus an idea was born... (I can already see Dave rolling his eyes.)

I was thinking that with the number of RPG, drama, and theater geeks at and around Misty (and other places visited by me), that an organized field trip for a Saturday Matinee out to American Players Theater for some Shakespeare might be in order.

If you are interested, comment below with your approval, numbers of peeps no on LJ that would be interested, and any questions/comments.
While I have seemed to hit a stride with some of the stories, I have also seemed to hit a rather large stride. It seems that my friend robbi_kenobi liked my stories to the point that he asked if I would be willing to do a column on the Geek Like Me web site. As I am a geek, I so no reason not to become a geek columnist.

So you can find Zombie Joe's Brain Matter in the "Geek Stuff" section of www.ageeklikeme.com. Or, you can go here to get the archive list of columns. There is only one so far as the other story and article were pre-column.

So on Day Three of Robin being gone, we are on 2 of 3 for finding zombie movies on television. Grindhouse and Highlander on Tuesday, and Slither on Thursday. I can't wait to see what the final night tonight brings. ;)
